Frequent Questions Clients ask?
1. Do you overbook?
No I don't overbook I schedule according to particular services. Shampoo style 30 min and relaxers 1 hour. I think its unfair to overbook to the client and to myself. Believe me I understand that we as woman can get a lot done in that hour or whatever time waiting on hair service. I don't believe in wasted time.
2. Do you use professional products?
I only believe in using professional products because I am a professional.
3. Why do hairstylist charge fees for no call no show appointments?
It is unfair to a hairstylist for a potential client to schedule an appointment and don't show up or call. Hairstylist are people that also live very busy lives with families and daily schedules. One of the worse things hairstylist go through is rushing to salon for appointment and client don't show or call. Its inconsiderate and can throw a hairstylist day completely off. Therefore I charge a $25.00 no show no call and I ask that each client if possible will give me a 24 - 48 hour in advance cancellation notice. If not a $25.00 fee will also be applied to next service charge. Keep in minds doctor offices do the same thing.
4. Why aren't children allowed in salon unless provided service?
As a business owner I can't risk injuries, incidents or accidents with children for insurance purposes. Also I believe that a woman should come to the salon and relax and enjoy her personal time and hair service without the interruption of children which can cause delay in the time of services and also disruptions to other clients. We want to make sure that your salon experience is peaceful and enjoyable!
5. Why are hair services so expensive?
People have to realize that everything is increasing this day and age as well as the salon industry. Depending on the experience and location of the salon will determine pricing. Over head for hairstylist is increasing daily. There is no way a hairstylist can make a living on prices 5 - 10 years ago.
